ON AIR NOW:

How did you first become involved in radio?

From a young age I knew I wanted to be on the radio. I grew up listening to great local presenters such as Lee Finan, Gerry Dee and  Kevin Fernihough .

I started out DJing at friend’s birthday parties and at 13 I joined north staff’s hospital radio where I presented a show targeted for the children’s ward.  At 15 I did my work experience at a local commercial station and after a day working with the engineers I thought ‘this is boring’ and asked if I could sit in on a radio show so I have been a coffee boy for the likes of Gerry Dee and Chris Moyles!.  Since then I have progressed to presenting shows for numerous stations starting out on overnights for MFM in Wrexham and before returning to home.

What is your most memorable radio moment so far?

I just loved being a par of road shows where people came out in their thousands to see you throw out  CDs, car stickers and badges.

What is the ultimate song to lift your day?

I love all types of music I don’t have a favourite song or artist.  My favourite era is the 90s where I have lots of fond memories of Valentinos and The Place, I just love feel good songs.

How do you feel about joining the Blue Sky Team?

I’m really looking forward to getting back on air and it is a privilege to be invited to be a part of a great team who have so much talent.
